Sophie McClellan

Sophie joined SMK Lawyers in June 2021 having had prior experience in insurance litigation. She specialises in the complexities of psychological injury and work injury damages claims which suit her meticulous work style with a strong ethical focus. She demonstrates a willingness to commit to challenges as a unique characteristic that she carries into her professional life.

Sophie handles her matters strategically and has been trusted with highly sensitive matters. She puts her client’s needs at the forefront and offers advanced solutions to minimise their costs.

Sophie has a diverse legal background having previously worked in Insurance litigation with a focus on dust disease and industrial deafness matters. During her full-time studies at university, she worked as a paralegal in commercial property and a volunteer paralegal for a major charity that focuses on finding a cure for brain cancer. Her strong work ethic and academic achievements led her to receiving a scholarship to study at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
