Khrystyna Matiiuk

Khrystyna completed her studies at the University of Technology Sydney, graduating in December 2022 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting. She then completed her Practical Legal Training through College of Law in May 2023.

In early August 2023, Khrystyna was admitted as a solicitor of the New South Wales Supreme Court. In July 2023, Khrystyna joined SMK Lawyers as a junior solicitor.

Prior to joining SMK Lawyers, Khrystyna worked as a law graduate for a plaintiff firm that specialises in personal injury compensation. She assisted with matters involving public liability and motor vehicle accident claims.  She has also previously worked in various other practice areas including Commercial, Corporate, Taxation, Wills Estate and Planning, and Criminal law.

Priding herself on her tenacity and diligence, Khrystyna is determined to competently advise clients on a range of legal issues.

Outside of work, Khrystyna enjoys playing tennis, travelling, exploring various food places and spending time with family and friends. Khrystyna also loves reading psychological thrillers and recently began learning Italian.

She is a member of the Ukrainian Youth Association in Sydney and has been appointed as a board member in early 2022. During her time at university, she was the President, Treasurer, and co-founder of the UTS Slavic Society.

• Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business (Accounting) – December 2022
• Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice – May 2023.
