Chanaia Sabando

Chanaia is a dynamic and passionate young lawyer, with a background in insurance which gives her a unique understanding of her client’s imperatives.

 

She began her legal career in plaintiff personal injury firms before joining Gallagher Bassett, a global third-party administrator. There she worked as a paralegal, assisting claims managers in defendant medical negligence work. She then transitioned into a Claims Consultancy role in historical child abuse, collaborating with iCare and insured public agencies. 

 

Prior to working in law, Chanaia’s passion was in performing arts and environmental advocacy, allowing her to utilise and further develop her presenting and public advocacy skills for both legal and creative purposes. 

 

She currently advises on workers compensation and section 151Z recoveries. With a dedication to equitable outcomes, Chanaia is poised to make a significant contribution to her client’s advantage.
