Alex Blume

Alex joined SMK Lawyers in August 2024 having considerable experience in defendant litigation. Alex completed his studies with the LPAB’s Diploma in Law while working full-time, finishing in September 2023. He also holds a tertiary qualification in Psychology from Macquarie University. Alex works on a range of matters, including liability, claims for permanent impairment, and work injury damages, with a particular interest in matters relating to psychological injuries. Prior to entering the law, he spent six years working in Recruitment Services, including three years as a manager, where his work focused on addressing barriers to employment to enable unemployed people to return to the workforce. He brings mature professionalism and a focused experience in psychological injury.
